Call for Expressions of Interest – Mango Grower Demonstration Site Program

Australian Mangoes is inviting expressions of interest from mango growers to take part in the Mango Grower Demonstration Site Program. This initiative provides an opportunity for growers to trial and evaluate new practices and products on their farms, with support from Australian Mangoes, QDPI and NTDAF.

Why Get Involved?

Growers will have the chance to:
✅ Trial innovative practices and technologies tailored to your farm
✅ Receive support from AMIA, QDPI and NTDAF in setting up and running the trial
✅ Get help with data collection and analysis
✅ Gain insights to improve decision-making on-farm
✅ Share learnings with other growers through field days and industry events.

Potential focus areas:

  • Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
  • Water, nutrient and chemical efficiency
  • Crop Forecasting Tools

Trial Details:

📅 Duration: Two seasons (2025/26 and 2026/27).
📍 Location: Trials will ideally be conducted on multiple farms to enhance reliability.

What’s Expected from Growers?

  • Commitment to trial and evaluate new practices on-farm.
  • Participation in data collection and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribution of basic materials or equipment where applicable.
