Mess-tival news flash!

Mess-tival news flash!

Australian Mangoes premier event, Mess-tival, is on this Sunday at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach. The one-day festival, held in conjunction with the North Bondi Nippers, includes R2E2, Kensington Pride, Honey Gold and Calypso growers giving free mango samples to hungry beach goers.

Nippers will compete for a slice of glory in mango-based challenges including mango relay races and mango eating competitions. There will be giveaways, a sausage sizzle and cool summer tunes to entertain the masses.

What better way to let consumers far and wide know about Mess-tival and the peak of the mango season than with national TV Coverage!

The event will be featured on tonight’s The Project ‘Friday Night Whip Around’. Sam Mac will be with Nippers at the North Bondi Surf Club to compete in an eating competition live on-air. The Project is on from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and the ‘Friday Night Whip Around’ will close the show.

The Project is a favourite weekday ‘infotainment' show that has a national audience of 650,000, making it one of Australia’s most popular programs, outside of the news. Tune in tonight to watch the Nippers and Sam getting messy!

Also make sure you’re watching Channel 7’s Weekend Sunrise from 7am to 10am Sunday morning because the weather segments will be filmed live at Mess-tival.

Weekend Sunrise is Australia’s favourite national weekend breakfast program and has an estimated viewership of 314,264. The weather crosses will generate 10 minutes of live on-air coverage.

So grab your cup of tea and tune in from to see all the action from the day.

If you can’t make it on Sunday, check out @AussieMangoes Facebook and Instagram. The Australian Mangoes social media team will be on the ground during Mess-tival using the hashtag merchandise tent to encourage people to use #LovinSummer #LovinMangoes and share their photos from the day to amplify Mess-tival to the rest of Australia.
