Australian farmers and Australian grown products have an enviable reputation overseas. This positions Australian mango growers well to export their product to different countries around the world. Approximately 5% (3,500 tonnes) of the Australian crop is exported on an annual basis. Australia’s key export markets include New Zealand, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong. The industry undertakes marketing in some of these countries to encourage demand of Australian mangoes. Currently, Australia is negotiating access for fresh Australian mangoes to a number of other key markets. You can find relevant importer and exporter contacts at horticulturetrade.com.au
